The nine community councillors are local people from diverse backgrounds who work voluntarily and un-paid for the benefit of the community. They represent the people of their area at the closest level to the community and they are there to represent the views of their electors.

ELECTIONS
Elections for local councillors throughout Wales are held on the first Thursday in May every five years. Those eligible to be community councillors must be over 18 years of age and must have strong local connections e.g. a local government elector within the community, having been the owner or tenant of any land or other property or having worked largely or mainly within the community within the previous 12 months or having lived within, or within 3 miles, of the community.
The most recent elections were held on Thursday 5th May 2022.
The next election will be held in May 2027.
